Palomino is a miniature piece of paradise along the Caribbean coastline, white sands blue waters and crestfallen palm trees dipped into the sea all make for an idyllic beach setting. With Palomino a few hours away on a local bus from the nearest main town Santa Marta means it isn’t overrun with tourists, just enough to create a chilled beach vibe but not too many to make it commercialised. Palomino is only a small place, packed with hostels right on the doorstep of the beach and restaurants. Perfect for a relaxed getaway from the city.
